The Hilton Head Island Recreation Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all area residents. The Association produces, provides and coordinates public recreation programs, "wellness" activities and special events. The Association commits itself to monitoring the recreation needs of the community and instituting change where appropriate.

Rec Center Facility features:

• Pool-Featuring a 8 Lane, 25 yard pool
• Gym-1 Indoor full court which can be broken into 2 half courts
• 2 Outdoor Basketball courts

The S.H.A.R.E. CENTER is a division of the Island Recreation Association and is dedicated to providing all adults with quality educational, recreational, and social activities. S.H.A.R.E. offers a variety of regularly scheduled activities and recreational options.
